CFA 5K & Kids Fun Run STARTS at the Ocoee Middle School track and ENDS on Bluford Ave & McKey Street.
To benefit S.T.A.R.S of West Orange, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing school backpacks and school supplies to Orange County public elementary, middle and high schools so students have the tools they need the first day of school. How do I register?
Register online at https://runsignup.com/Race/FL/Ocoee/3rdAnnualChickfilA5K or print and mail this form to the Ocoee Parks and Recreation Department.
Can't make it to the event?
We'd love to have you with us, but if you can't make it, consider making a donation instead. All donations go to S.T.A.R.S. of West Orange. To learn more visit http://www.supportstars.org/.
Can I push a stroller?
Yes, runners and walkers may push strollers, but they will be asked to start near the back of the pack.
Can I bring my dog/pet?
Sorry, dogs/pets are not invited to the race for insurance reasons.
What do I get for my entry fee?
All paid pre-registered race participants will receive a race packet goodie bag with promotional items, t-shirt, snacks, bottled water and access to the race day festivities. All pre-registered participants will also receive a participation medal.
Will there be onsite/race day registration?
Yes, however the price goes up on race day so we encourage everyone to sign up early.
Where and when can I pick up my packet?
You can pick up your packet at the Jim Beech Recreation Center, 1820 A.D. Mims Road in Ocoee starting on Monday, November 4th.
How far is a 5K?
It is 3.1 miles.
If I'm not a runner, can I still participate?
Yes, CFA 5K & Kids Fun Run is open to anyone and everyone. We encourage runners, joggers and walkers of all shapes, speeds and sizes to come out and join us.
